Eating for Your Future

You have heard someone say time and time again that eating the wrong food is bad for you.  (Its true lets talk about it).
Going from hamburgers to Veggies is a hard transition on the body and mind.  Your body will still be craving the bad fats and sugars.
Sugar is a drug used by allot of companies so you crave their food.  (Well it works).
We crave food that is bad for our bodies, it is a proven fact.  So like any other drug, you have to recognize the craving and ween your self off of it safely.  (Resist the urge to eat it).
A good way to ween the body off sugar is Vitamin C.
Always consult your doctor before changing your diet so you two can figure out what amount of Vitamins and Minerals are safe for your body.  What works for one person can severely hurt another.
Talk to your doctor, get some blood work and tell him/her what your goals are so you can work toward them together safely.  Below are suggestions and information that you can go over with your doctor to see what is the right path for you.  Lets get started.

What does sugar do to the Brain?  Well you have heard the terms “Sugar Rush” and “Sugar Crash” right?  That isn’t just how your body feels, it causes the brain to  produce huge surges of Dopamine. This is the same way the brain reacts to substances like heroin and cocaine.  It also releases Serotonin which is what makes you feel happy.
Just as quickly as the body feels good it crashes and feels sad, depressed  and even angry.
Eating good foods and good sugars giving your brain the glucose its needs to run without the bad side affects of white sugar and corn syrup.

This is your journey to know what is best for your body.

You know we have manual’s for everything from our phones to our cars.  But not our body. Do you know why?  You haven’t written it yet. Aside from your parents and your doctor, you are the only person who knows anything about your body. If there is a specialist it is you.

You are the only person who feels what happens to your body.  So lets start a manual for you. Starting out with your age, height, weight, blood type and allergies.  Put in there everything you know about you.  Ask yourself because only you know the answer.  Do you have any conditions? Dietary Restrictions? Allergies? Put them all in there.
If you have been diagnosed with any mental health issues, that is perfectly fine.

If you do not have a daily journal it is a good idea to get one, so you can work on your body and mind separately with the ultimate goal of them working together.

Make sure if you are on any medications, you let your doctor’s know your are working on changing your lifestyle to becoming healthier.  This way they can help adjust where needed to better help you.
